Augent Partners provides financial advisory services to institutional investors, general partners and to entepreneurs of SME companies


We have an extensive experience in supporting institutional investors to take advantage of the secondary market and thus effectively manage their alternative asset portfolios.

We treat every transaction as unique and therefore we offer customized services advising on the best fitting sales process, structure and strategy.

The firm has developed a strong and reliable network of secondary buyers, including both traditional as well as less traditional types like endowments, foundations, family offices, pension plans, insurance companies, ect.

Our expertise includes but is not limited to funds of buyout, infrastructure, special situations, venture capital, energy/natural resources, real estate and fund of funds.


We work closely with General Partners providing M&A advisory and, leveraging on the secondary market, allowing them to selectively generate liquidity for their limited partners.

We assist also entepreneurs and companies in the sales of assets and/or business units, implementing private sales processes or competitive auctions. The main acivities are: preparation and review of the business plan, valuation, definition of the sales strategy, preparation of marketing material, shortlist of  potenzial buyers, structuring and optimization, bidder selection, assistance on contract negotiation and on the closing.

For institutional investors we offer strategic advisory on the assessment, optimization and due diligence of their private equity portfolio, and also on portfolio valuation and portfolio cash flow forecasting.


We work closely to General Partners advising on the following activities: review of fund strategy, fund terms, presentations, due diligence packs, market positioning, go to market tactics, investor screening, investor follow-ups. We provide to our clients a regular weekly update on the ongoing activities throght reporting and conference calls.


We help General Partners in managing investor relations: investor development, marketing material, investor reporting.
These activities are now very important due to the increasing demands from sophisticated investors for more frequent and detailed information and also the need to put a compelling story together to fund raise successfully.
